Welcome to my website.

My name is Luc Poppelaars and I’m an amateur photographer living in Belgium (Wuustwezel). My passion for photography originates under water. The wonders of the underwater world fascinated me so much that I wanted to share my experiences with everyone. I bought my Nikonos V and started underwater photography. Due to health issues and medical advice, I was forced to stop with underwater photography. I turned my passion for underwater photography into an ever growing passion for all the beauty that lies above the water level. Over the years, I’ve developed a wider range of subject matter from nature to architecture, sports, people, abandoned places, events and even more. My main goal is to have fun while doing it.

I am an FGA member (Foto Groep Antwerpen), photographer for www.wezelopdefoto.be and a board member at fotoclub Obscura (Zoersel).

I am always busy attending workshops, going on trips with my fellow photographers and visiting exhibitions to broaden my passion.
